For perspective and already agreed composers: (Updated: 3-7-05)



     This site is still a work in progress.

     Not being in much money at the moment, what with total lack of employment, I can't afford professional website design programs such as DreamWeaver or such.

     I try to do this myself as I want to learn and not have to pass the cost of buying the product onto you; this is a free service I offer by doing this for you guys, up to point that is.  What with me being a huge score nerd. :-)

     The site will go through changes from time to time as I learn HTML code better and can afford programs, or find a good cheap one that doesn't put Spyware or Adware on my computer, and thus will alter in appearance again and again until it becomes what I think it should be.

     The original aim of this site was for anyone to join, but both my hands didn't know what they were doing.  After some discussion with a composer, I realized that I was defeating the original intention of my site:  to give unsung composers pages on the net and promote them; to make them known.  But what I had written was contrary: anyone.  I now realize that the more composers I bring on board, the more I will overshadow those already on.
So I came to the conclusion that I had to limit how many on at one time, even though I'm not full yet.  So I felt an appropriate number would be:  15.  That is the grand total for now.
Here is some info you might want to know:


  1.      Sound clips - yes, you have the choice.  I only have two composers, as of February 10th, who want clips up.
         Now, as you no doubt realize, as more composers get involved, banwidth and storage will become an issue and I would need financial support ... $35 for 6 months, or $99.50 for one year, giving 500 megs for MP3 clips (Need those extra Megs) and file storage (Images) with what megs are left after the site design.  See "The Pot" at the bottom of the page.
         So, right now I ask for 15.00 as with how many members there are.  As time goes by and more composers join, when the year's worth of paid service ends, there will be more composers to split up the cost by.  Thus making it only a few dollars until the point where it will become a fixed amount and the over pay will go toward buying something like DreamWeaver and anything the site may need.
         As you may know, It's cheaper than paying for an ad free site yourself, registering a domain name so no one steals it, and programs, or hiring someone to build the site.  Unless you have a friend who will do it for you.
         For your assurance that I am not blowing your money and that it goes to what I said it will go to, the upgrade, at the end of the page I have started a "Pot" so to say, that shows how much is in it.  It is only updated when I get your money.



  1.      An Upgrade gets rid of all page ads and pop ups, allows for e-mail for this site; example:  jboggan@composerbase.150m.com  (Not a real e-mail, don't use it you git ;-) & give me the ability to do more complicated design stuff.  Also allows for sound files and extra storage and bandwidth.



  1.   Please hurry, if you can, with the info I need, like Bios, Filmography and etc.



  1.      Your music -- if I should get any music from you for the site, nothing will be copied and shared with other people.  It would be a betrayal of your trust -- not a good way for me to start off.  What would happen is I would go through it and pick the tracks I think should be used and then confirmed with you and then samples or complete cues (in low quality) put up on your own seperate Audio Page.



  1.      You have almost total control over what is in your page(s).  If you want it removed if you should choose to leave the site, it will be done.  If you want a change made, it will be done.



  1.      Your contact information:  Your contact information will not be shared with anybody who isn't in the industry.
